Fine execution of economic linework in that second one. I personally prefer the more wayward scratchiness and scribbled details in the first, but both are good.

both styles are so fun to do but absolutely agree i love doing the sketchier style for more details
This is so damn good. It doesn't even look like colour pencils, it looks like watercolours!
Thanks man! The paper I used this time around is different from the first drawing (I got a new drawing pad cause the original was too small for the scale I wanted to do and also didn’t have much paper left but they didn’t have the same type at the store) and I think the texture of the paper shows a lot more than smooths so that’s probably a bit of the reason it’s got that watercolor feel. Not totally sure how I feel about it though I think the scan sharpened the image more for whatever reason, especially on the all-black parts. I dunno. I was having trouble with it. Ramble aside, thanks again! I’m gonna be done with the next piece soon. I’m excited to share it.
Nice balls... Heh... Heheheheheheheheheheh

Nicely re-interpreted here.
Ty!
Very cool character design. Great work with the shadows, too!
Thanks
Oh, very nicely done.
Edit: all the time, lol.
Thanks. Once again, the piece that people like is the one I am most dissatisfied with...does that happen to you, too?
Nice work on the stripping. Bukowski is an interesting subject to be sure.
Edit: LOL I'm perpetually tired. I meant stippling but we both knew that already. ;)
Thanks. Not much stripping was involved in putting down the dots as I was at home, not in a club.
(Sorry...I couldn't resist)
Nicely done!
Thank you!

Thank you!
Nicely rendered, with a neat flourishing flow running through it. Good work!
Thanks! Flow is always good.
